Job Title: Barista / Café Steward

Reporting To: Café Supervisor / F&B; Manager

Job Summary The Barista / Café Steward is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and light food items while ensuring excellent guest service, cleanliness, and hygiene standards. The role focuses on creating a welcoming café experience and maintaining high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Guest Handling

- Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately
- Serve coffee, beverages, and food items promptly
- Handle guest queries and complaints politely
- Maintain a friendly and professional attitude at all times

Beverage Preparation

- Prepare espresso-based drinks, tea, and cold beverages
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure consistency in taste and quality

Hygiene & Cleanliness

- Maintain cleanliness of café area, counters, and equipment
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients





Billing & Cash Handling

- Operate POS/billing system correctly
- Handle cash/card transactions responsibly
- Maintain basic billing accuracy

Stock & Operations

- Assist in stock checking and replenishment
- Minimize wastage of coffee, milk, and consumables
- Report equipment issues to supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 10th / 12th pass
- Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage service (preferred)
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Neat appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure

Experience

- Fresher or 1–2 years experience in café / hotel / restaurant preferred

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,086.00 - ₹18,692.13 per month
