About the Role

We are looking for Asst. Manager - Accounts & Finance with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our Finance team. The role will primarily focus on financial reporting, preparation and review of financial statements, accounting, reconciliations and regulatory reporting.

This would be a great fit for someone who has a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting and is looking to take ownership of core finance processes in a fast-paced NBFC/fintech workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Manage month-end/year-end close — review accounting entries, supporting schedules, and ensure timely closing.

Prepare and review financial statements & reports — monthly, quarterly, annual P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and related schedules.

Perform and review reconciliations — bank, partner, and ledger; resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.

Support audits — coordinate with statutory auditors, prepare audit schedules and required documentation for quarterly/annual audits.

Ensure regulatory compliance — RBI, Companies Act, accounting standards, and other applicable regulations.

Coordinate cross-functionally — with Finance, Credit, Operations, Business, and Technology teams on accounting, reporting, and reconciliation matters.

Analyse financial performance — income, expenses, receivables, payables, and other metrics; flag significant variances.

Prepare MIS and management/board reporting — consolidate analysis for internal review, management,



and board decision-making.

Drive process improvement — strengthen finance processes, reporting systems, and controls as the business scales.

Own assigned deliverables — ensure timely, accurate completion of designated finance processes.

What We're Looking For

Finance and accounts Graduate with 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Strong understanding of financial accounting and financial reporting.

Hands-on experience in preparation/review of financial statements and accounting schedules.

Good understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.

Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Good analytical and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Good to Have

Prior experience in an NBFC, fintech, banking or financial services organisation.

Worked in a CA firm for at least 1 year.

Preferred CA drop out / Semi qualified.

Exposure to RBI reporting/compliance and NBFC accounting.

Experience working with statutory auditors and handling audit requirements.

Exposure to Ind AS / financial reporting under applicable accounting standards.

Experience with partner/loan-level reconciliations or lending-related financial operations.
