What You’ll Be Doing
- Support validation and quality assurance activities for eCOA software products in accordance with established SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Participate in software testing activities, including test reviews, test execution, and test witnessing within an Agile development environment.
- Review product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and related documentation to support comprehensive test coverage.
- Assist in planning test efforts and identifying testing scope based on project requirements and release schedules.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and maintain testing evidence in accordance with quality procedures.
- Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance team members, database administrators, and system administrators to investigate and resolve testing issues.
- Support defect identification, documentation, tracking, and verification activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Assist with troubleshooting test failures across multiple testing environments.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and validation deliverables.
- Ensure timely completion of required training, documentation, and compliance activities.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, validation, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycle concepts.
- Experience or exposure to manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies preferred.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, clinical research, or pharmaceutical technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), automation, or DevOps practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and recommend solutions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while also managing assigned responsibilities independently.
