We are looking for an experienced Area Receivables Manager Write-Off Collections to lead hard-core collections and recovery activities for written-off Personal Loan / Business Loan / Unsecured Loan portfolios across Upper Assam The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Write-Off / Hard Collections, excellent knowledge of collection processes and legal recovery mechanisms, and proven experience handling the Upper Assam market.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Write-Off / Hard Collection activities across the assigned area.
- Drive recovery from written-off Personal Loan, Business Loan and other Unsecured Loan portfolios.
- Manage and monitor field collection teams and ensure achievement of recovery targets.
- Develop effective strategies for difficult, delinquent and long-pending accounts.
- Handle legal recovery cases, settlements, repossession-related processes and other recovery actions as applicable.
- Ensure adherence to company collection policies, regulatory guidelines and ethical collection practices.
- Analyse portfolio performance, ageing, recovery trends and collection efficiency.
- Conduct regular field visits and review high-value / critical delinquent accounts.
- Coordinate with Legal,



Operations and Business teams for resolution of complex recovery cases.
- Drive productivity and performance of the collection team and external agencies.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of overall experience in Collections, preferably in Personal Loan / Business Loan / Unsecured Loan portfolios.
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Write-Off / Hard Collections.
- Experience in handling written-off unsecured loan portfolios is essential.
- Strong understanding of legal recovery processes and collection-related legal matters.
- Prior experience working in Upper Assam particularly Jorhat / Dibrugarh and surrounding markets – is preferred.
- Experience with Banks / NBFCs will be preferred.
- Strong field collection, negotiation, recovery and team-management skills.
- Should be comfortable handling challenging and high-risk delinquent accounts.
- Positive knowledge of local geography, customer behaviour and collection ecosystem in Upper Assam will be an added advantage.
