- Strong experience in International Direct Tax and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance across APAC jurisdictions, with sound knowledge of local tax regulations, tax treaties, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to independently manage the end-to-end monthly tax compliance process, including preparation of tax workings, coordination with internal reviewers, and liaison with external tax advisors/agents for timely filing.
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy and audit readiness of tax-related accounts.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and systems. Strong team player who can provide backup support and contribute effectively during peak workloads.
- Experience supporting transition or migration projects, including development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Demonstrated ownership of tax compliance for assigned countries/legal entities, with robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with finance teams, business partners, external advisors.
