We are seeking a highly skilled APEX Developer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing, developing, and deploying applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role requires advanced knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and web technologies, as well as a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL code to support application functionality.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices are implemented.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform enhancements for existing applications.
- Document solutions, processes, and code for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.




- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience integrating APEX applications with RESTful web services and other external systems.
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Extensive experience in delivering Apex solution for complex architectures involving remote database interactions.
- Strong expertise in APEX and PL/SQL concepts like dynamic data pivoting, advanced APEX_COLLECTION management, JavaScript-based APEX customisation, and custom AJAX callback processes.
- Retail domain knowledge or experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Oracle Database administration.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Certifications in Oracle technologies are a plus.
