About the Role

HomeFirst Finance Company is hiring a

Manager – Accounts & Audit to manage accounting activities, support period-end closure, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for professionals with

2–4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance

, with hands-on exposure to GL, month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and Ind AS.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting and support finalization and closure of books of accounts.

- Oversee bookkeeping processes and ensure effective internal controls

.

- Manage period-close activities including

GL scrutiny, journal entries, accruals, provisioning, invoicing, and reconciliations

.

- Ensure quality and accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.

- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

, audits, and reviews.

- Perform GL reviews and analyze





Balance Sheet and P&L; movements

.

- Prepare

Ind AS workings

, including ECL, EIR, and securitisation.

- Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2–4 years of experienc e in Accounting & Finance

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles and procedure s

- Experience or working knowledge of

Ind A

S

- Hands-on experience with

General Ledger functions and month-end/year-end closin g

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in

Microsoft Exce l

- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders

- Ability to multitask and take on additional responsibilities
