About the Role

Lead the complete mechanical function covering plant maintenance, reliability, RMHS, erection & commissioning, and capacity enhancement projects, ensuring equipment availability, safety, cost efficiency and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Manage erection, commissioning and expansion projects.
- Drive RMHS project execution, equipment installation and commissioning.
- Manage EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs and vendors.
- Ensure reliability improvement through RCM, RCA, MTBF & MTTR initiatives.
- Manage shutdowns, mechanical budgets, spares and cost optimization.
- Lead mechanical teams and ensure safety and statutory compliance.

Preferred Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- M.E./M.Tech will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 15 -20+ years in Mining, Cement, Mineral Processing, Steel, Heavy Manufacturing or Process Industries.
- Robust exposure to plant maintenance, projects, erection and commissioning.

RMHS Mandatory Experience Mandatory hands-on experience in Raw Material Handling System (RMHS) projects, covering:

- Equipment selection, specification and equipment hiring/procurement
- Review of GA drawings, layouts,



equipment specifications and installation procedures
- Engineering coordination and procurement support
- Mechanical erection, installation, alignment and testing
- Handling of crushers, conveyors, screens, feeders, bucket elevators and other bulk material handling equipment
- Coordination with EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs and vendors
- Equipment commissioning, trial runs, stabilization and successful plant handover
- Preventive and predictive maintenance of RMHS equipment
- Equipment reliability improvement through RCM, RCA, MTBF and MTTR
- Shutdown planning and execution
- Spare parts planning and inventory optimization
- Cost optimization and maintenance budget control
- Safety, quality and statutory compliance
- TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment efficiency and life.
