Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all civil construction and interior fit-out activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The Site Engineer coordinates with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution
- Supervise and execute all civil, structural, architectural, and interior fit-out works.
- Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor daily construction activities and ensure timely completion of work.
- Verify site measurements, layouts, levels, and dimensions before execution.
- Resolve technical issues arising during construction.
2. Interior Fit-Out Works
- Supervise all interior finishing activities, including:
- Gypsum partitions and false ceilings
- Flooring (Tiles, Marble, Granite, Wooden, Vinyl)
- Painting and polishing
- Carpentry and modular furniture installation
- Glass and aluminium works
- Wall paneling and decorative finishes
- Kitchen and wardrobe installation
- Sanitary fittings and accessories
- Ensure interior works are completed according to approved shop drawings and design specifications.
3. MEP Coordination
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Fire Fighting, and ELV works with civil and interior activities.
- Resolve site clashes between civil, architectural, and MEP services.
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with approved drawings and standards.
4. Quality Control
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
- Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure before project handover.
5. Site Planning & Progress Monitoring
- Prepare daily and weekly work plans.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
- Report progress, delays, and challenges to the Project Manager.
6. Resource Management
- Plan manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate material procurement with the Purchase Department.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Ensure efficient utilization of site resources.
7. Safety Management
- Ensure strict compliance with company Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Ensure all workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
8. Documentation
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Record labor attendance, material usage, equipment utilization, and work progress.
- Maintain inspection reports, site instructions, measurement sheets, and quality records.
- Prepare work completion reports and handover documentation.
9. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Attend project review meetings.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues.
- Obtain approvals for materials, inspections, and completed works.
10. Cost Control
- Monitor work quantities and productivity.
- Minimize rework and material wastage.
- Coordinate with the Quantity Surveying team for measurements and billing.
- Support cost-effective project execution.
11. Project Handover
- Conduct final inspections and prepare snag lists.
- Ensure all defects are rectified before handover.
- Assist in testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare as-built documentation and support successful project completion.
Salary & Benefits:

- This is a full-time, site-based position requiring work at project locations across Kerala and other states in India, as assigned by the Company.
- The candidate must be willing to travel and relocate to project sites within and outside Kerala, based on project requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
