Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Finance Controller for a reputed company at Mumbai ( Goregaon)

Responsibilities

- Overseeing day to day operations and leading & managing the finance team, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant rules, regulations, and financial standards to ensure the company's financial activities remain compliant.
- Prepare and file the necessary reports and documents as required by regulatory authorities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company laws and governance practices to ensure the company's financial activities align with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any legal or regulatory financial matters.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and long-term financial sustainability.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.




- Analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to assess the company's financial health.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Present financial information to senior management, board members, and other relevant stakeholders.

Candidate requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master's / CA degree will be a plus)
- Proven experience of at least 8+ years in financial management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and company law.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills as well as very valuable presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
