Job Title: Business Analyst - Life Insurance Domain

Location: On-site
Experience: 2-4 years
Education: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in the Life Insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are well-understood, documented, and effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand and capture business needs, objectives, and processes.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Testing Support: Participate in UAT planning, execution, and review, ensuring that delivered functionalities meet business expectations.
- Production Monitoring: Support post-production validation, track issues, and ensure smooth transition of deliverables to production.
- Coordination: Work closely with development, testing,



and operations teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Defect Analysis: Coordinate with QA and development teams for defect triage and resolution tracking.
- Utilize JIRA for requirement tracking and issue management.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and Excel to support requirement verification and reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of Life Insurance domain processes (New Business, Policy Servicing, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, SQL, and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a structured and process-driven approach.

Preferred Skills (Positive to Have):

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Understanding of Testing Lifecycle and QA processes.
- Experience with reporting tools or dashboards for business insights.
- Basic understanding of Insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
