Role OverviewWe are seeking a Team Lead to build and lead a team of software engineers developing a strategically important cloud-based platform that enables customers to check and improve the accuracy of their X-Rite color measurement devices.This is a player-coach role, combining hands-on software development with technical leadership and people management. The role focuses on enabling team effectiveness, technical excellence, cloud-native architecture, and continuous improvement in a global engineering environment.The team owns a modern web application built with TypeScript, React, Redux, HTML, CSS, AWS, Lambda, Node.js, and serverless technologies, as well as a companion Qt/C desktop application responsible for collecting and managing data that is integrated into the cloud platform.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing team of software engineersHire, onboard, motivate, and coach team members, fostering engagement, growth, and a strong team cultureContribute hands-on to software development, including design, implementation, code reviews, and technical problem solving leveraging AI throughout the software development lifecycleProvide technical leadership and guide architectural decisions for both the cloud platform and associated desktop applications in collaboration with global engineering teams (US, Switzerland, India, Germany, Netherlands, North Macedonia)Own and evolve scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-native architectures on AWSDrive the evolution of frontend and backend systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, usability, and securityCollaborate closely with product management, UX, QA,
