Job Purpose
To drive effective governance, control, and continuous improvement of the settlement lifecycle by leveraging strong system knowledge, advanced Excel capabilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Settlement closure Governance.

? Govern and monitor end-to-end settlement closure processes, ensuring adherence to approved SOP
? Review exceptional settlement closure cases requiring manual intervention
? Validate settlement financials, waiver amounts, excess receipts, and closure eligibility prior to account closure
? Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of audit trails for all settlement closure exceptions with tracker
? Coordinate with Business, IT, Operations teams for resolution of settlement closure issues.
? Publish exception reports and governance MIS to management for effective oversight and monitoring.
2. System knowledge related to settlement: -
? Possess comprehensive knowledge of settlement-related systems such as Indus, LMS -Pennant, DMS, B2B, and related applications used in the settlement lifecycle




? Provide functional support for settlement-related system issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution
3. Excel knowledge:
? Excel functions and formulas for data analysis, MIS preparation, reconciliation, and reporting
? Perform data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of business information.
? Develop and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports for settlement, waiver, refund, closure, and exception monitoring
? Solid analytical and logical reasoning skills.
? Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements through structured data analysis.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
? Significant autonomy in making transactional decisions with banks
Major Challenges
? To get the revert from IT for issues observed.
