What awaits you/ Job Profile

As a Senior SAP Roles & Rights Expert, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing SAP identity and access management processes within the organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP roles and authorizations to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access to SAP systems. Your expertise will support business continuity,



regulatory compliance, and IT security by aligning SAP access management with organizational policies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP roles, profiles, and authorizations in compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into effective SAP access solutions.
- Conduct role design workshops and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define access needs and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Perform regular access reviews, SoD conflict analysis, and remediation activities.
- Support SAP security audits and compliance initiatives by providing documentation, reports, and expert guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP authorization issues across various SAP modules
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for SAP access management processes, including automation and integration with identity governance frameworks.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Stay updated on SAP security trends, tools, and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP Basis, application teams, and enterprise security to ensure holistic security posture.

What should you bring along

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in SAP roles and authorization management.
- Deep knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design, user provisioning, and SoD principles.
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD or others relevant to your organization.
- Proficiency in SAP tools like SAP GRC Access Control,



SAP PFCG, and related security and compliance tools.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to access management (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting for SAP security is a plus.

Must have technical skill

Expertise in SAP Role Design and Authorization Management (PFCG): Deep knowledge of creating, modifying, and managing SAP roles, profiles, and authorizations using SAP transaction PFCG and related tools.

Experience with SAP GRC Access Control: Proficiency in using SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools for access request management, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, access risk remediation, and compliance reporting.

Strong Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Compliance Frameworks: Ability to analyze, detect, and resolve SoD conflicts aligned with regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and internal security policies.

Good to have Technical skills

1. Experience with SAP Module-Specific Authorizations: Familiarity with authorization concepts in key SAP modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), MM (Materials Management) or SD (Sales and Distribution
2. Knowledge of SAP Fiori Security: Understanding of SAP Fiori launchpad roles, tile authorization, and securing SAP Fiori apps within the SAP ecosystem.
3. Scripting and Automation Skills: Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., ABAP, PowerShell, or Python) to automate repetitive security tasks and enhance SAP security processes.
4. Exposure to AI and Machine Learning in Access Management: Awareness or experience with applying AI/ML technologies for intelligent access risk analysis, anomaly detection, or automation within SAP security.
5. Familiarity with SAP Security Audit and Monitoring Tools: Experience with tools for continuous monitoring, audit logging, and security incident management within SAP environments.
