What awaits you/ Job Profile

Join the Engineering Intelligence unit at BMWTechWorks India as part of the Advanced Chassis Engineering (ACE) team, where you will drive the creation and evolution of engineering tools for geometric chassis design. In this role you will develop, operate and continuously enhance ACE applications within CATIA V5 / PRISMA and the 3DEXPERIENCE environment, enabling more efficient chassis development from concept through series. You will work closely with engineering users and IT partners to build API?based tools, migrate and extend existing solutions, and implement 3DX?native applications that support seamless data exchange and a Single Point of Truth for engineering data. Additionally, you will take responsibility for KinKomm — a database and workflow platform for kinematics engineering — contributing to both front?end and back?end development, system integration and implementation of interfaces between CAD, PLM and engineering data sources. This position offers a hands?on opportunity to shape digital engineering workflows that have a direct impact on vehicle development at scale.

Must have technical skill

- Robust experience with CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE environments.
- API?based software development (C#, Python, .NET).
- Familiarity with PRISMA and CAD automation concepts (PowerCopies, User Defined Features, templates).
- Experience with version control and DevOps practices (GitHub, CI/CD).
- Knowledge of REST service development and system integration.
- Practical skills in testing, application operation and user support.

Good to have Technical skills

- Experience with WPF, VBA, CATScript, EKL or similar CAD scripting/extension languages.
- Knowledge of WebEAM.Next, authentication concepts and enterprise integration patterns.
- Full?stack web development experience (front?end and back?end technologies).
- Database development and workflow platform experience.
- Prior exposure to BMW systems (FUNDUS, PLM landscapes) and engineering data management.
- Experience in software architecture, workflow automation and data?driven engineering processes.
