Your work profile
As an Assistant Manager - Procurement & Tendering, you'll play a critical role in managing end-to-end procurement and tendering activities for MEP, infrastructure, and specialist packages across real estate development projects.
- Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, from procurement planning through tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, budgets, timelines, and business requirements.
- Coordinate procurement activities across multiple projects while ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies and governance standards.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, tender documents, scope of work, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
- Conduct commercial and technical evaluation of bids in collaboration with engineering, project, and commercial teams.
- Lead supplier discussions, tender clarifications, and contract negotiations to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, technical, and project delivery requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, contractual compliance, and commercial commitments.
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, benchmarking, and procurement reporting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Projects, Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate procurement and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Key skills required:
- Education : BE/ BTech , Graduation
- 4-8 years of experience in Procurement, Tendering, Contract Management, or Strategic Sourcing.
- Experience in MEP, Infrastructure, Construction, Real Estate, or Project Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle management, sourcing strategies, and tendering processes.
- Expertise in RFQ/RFP management, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Experience in Vendor Management, Supplier Development, and Supplier Relationship Management.
- Robust commercial acumen with exposure to cost optimization, value engineering, and spend analysis.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance, governance frameworks, and contracting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement packages and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
