Job Description: An Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Liaison serves as the vital go-between linking the company, government entities, and the public. They drive regulatory compliance, secure statutory approvals, and manage critical external relationships to ensure smooth operational functionality and project execution. Key Responsibilities

- Government Relations: Develop and execute liaison strategies with local, state, and central government authorities to secure licenses, permits, and statutory approvals quickly.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external agencies, industry bodies, investors, and local communities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Track, interpret, and advise senior management on changing government policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate disputes, address grievances, and overcome coordination hurdles between upper management, workforce, and external partners.
- Crisis Management: Provide on-the-ground support and coordinate with authorities during critical events, audits, or emergency situations.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate affairs, government relations, or public administration, ideally within heavy industry, real estate, or manufacturing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree; Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration, or a Law degree is highly preferred.
- Network: Established, robust network of contacts within key government and regulatory bodies.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
