Job Description: A Cement Plant Manager directs all daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, effective production, strict quality control, and environmental compliance. They optimize manufacturing from raw material intake to the final packaged cement, while managing budgets and leading workforce teams to meet regional performance targets. - Operational Leadership: Oversee the full operational cycle including raw material handling, clinker production, grinding, packing, and dispatch. [1]
- Safety & Environment: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols. Ensure plant compliance with all state and federal regulatory boards. [1, 2, 3]
- Production & Efficiency: Meet daily/weekly production schedules while minimizing waste and optimizing plant performance. [1]
- Maintenance Management: Collaborate with technical teams to plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize machinery uptime. [1]
- Quality Assurance (QA/QC):



Implement testing and quality control processes to ensure final cement or concrete mixes comply with industry standards and design specifications. [1, 2]
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage site budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without sacrificing quality. [1, 2]
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and evaluate plant operators, engineers, and support staff. [1, 2]

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, or Cement/Concrete Technology.
- Experience: 8+ years of proven industrial experience in cement, concrete, or allied heavy manufacturing operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cement chemistry, kiln/grind operations, and industrial plant maintenance.
