Job Description: An Incharge Dispatch for a coal washery plant oversees the end-to-end logistics, loading, and transportation of processed coal to customers. Key duties include managing weighbridge operations, ensuring accurate documentation (challans, invoices, e-way bills), coordinating with transporters, maintaining inventory records, and strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols. Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch & Logistics Management: Coordinate the daily loading of coal into wagons or trucks from the washery, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Generate and manage all logistics records, including weighbridge records, e-way bills, invoices, and dispatch details.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records of dispatched coal.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the loaded coal meets quality standards and handle issues regarding shortages or quality disputes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise loading staff, operators,



and security personnel.
- Safety Adherence: Enforce all site safety rules during loading and transport operations.

Required Skills and Experience

- Experience: 1–15 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or coal handling, preferably in a washery, steel, or mining setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in weighbridge software and inventory management tools.
- Knowledge: Understanding of statutory compliances related to coal transportation.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

- Accurate, timely dispatch and delivery.
- Minimizing truck detention time.
- Zero incidents/accidents during loading operations.
- Accurate reconciliation of stock.
