Job Description: A Collection and Recovery Manager at an NBFC oversees loan repayments, reduces non-performing assets (NPAs), and manages debt recovery strategies. Key responsibilities include leading field/tele-calling teams, monitoring delinquent accounts (DPD), negotiating with defaulters, ensuring compliance with RBI/Fair Practice Codes, and managing legal actions like SARFAESI or 138 cases. Core Responsibilities:

- Target Achievement: Responsible for achieving bucket-wise collection and recovery targets (1–90+ DPD).
- Team Leadership: Managing a team of internal staff and third-party agencies for field and tele-collections.
- Delinquency Management: Reducing the flow rate to higher buckets and controlling NPAs.
- Legal Compliance: Ensuring all collection actions comply with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
- Negotiation & Resolution: Handling customer complaints, negotiating settlements,



and facilitating repayments.
- Vendor Management: Managing external recovery agents to enhance productivity.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 10+ years in NBFC/Banking collections (Retail/Unsecured loans preferred).
- Skills: Solid negotiation, team management, and analytical skills.
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel), and MIS reporting.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Reduction in Gross NPA %.
- Bucket-wise Resolution %.
- Reduction in Cost of Collections.
- Field/Tele-caller Efficiency %.
