Job Description: A Software Engineer in a steel company develops and maintains industrial automation, inventory, and supply chain software, often integrating IT systems with OT (Operational Technology) on the production floor. Responsibilities include building scalable backend services for production monitoring, managing data from sensors, and improving manufacturing efficiency. Key Responsibilities

- System Development: Design, code, and deploy software applications for manufacturing, logistics, or inventory management using languages like Java, C++, or Python.
- OT/IT Integration: Work with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) data and Industrial IoT sensors to monitor, analyze, and optimize production processes.
- Database Management: Maintain and query large databases (SQL Server, Oracle) regarding steel inventory, orders, and quality control metrics.

- Industrial Exposure: Familiarity with SCADA systems, industrial automation, and data acquisition is highly desirable.
