Solution Architect

Role Description:

Expected years of Exp.: 7-10 Years

This role requires excellent techno functional skills with good experience in handling customers for successful execution of our projects.

You will be providing solutions based on PTC Windchill based products. Understanding the complex customer requirements, project scoping, architecting solutions involving complex business configurations.

Key responsibilities:

- Participate in Design and Architecture sessions with Key Business SMEs and assess current data flow of business architecture.

- End to End Technical Solutioning Architecting for global Windchill Implementation with Experience of working in Windchill implementation projects, with 3 or more years of experience as a Windchill Technical or Process Architect for a minimum of 3 customers with full-scope implementations, product life-cycle management systems, CAD data management, product data management, and associated networking systems.

- Extensive experience from both user perspective and technical perspective (business administration, configuration, customization, integration)

- Have to conduct workshops & conference room pilots to understand and analyze the customer's business need.

- Elaborate and map business requirements into Functional and Technical Solutions.

- Responsible for charting Solution Blueprint and other documentation as required

- As a solution architect for the Enterprise PLM solution, take full ownership of the technical aspects of the project and work with business stakeholders,



internal and external technical teams in delivering the solution.

- Will also be responsible for conducting customer trainings, content development and delivery.

- Mentor and Develop Junior Consultants to achieve their performance goals;

Essential Skills:

- Excellent knowledge of Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, MPMLink, SUMA

- Knowledge on Windchill API's and Data structure

- Excellent knowledge of Java J2EE technologies. Well versed with Webservices

- Should be capable of providing solutions based on the specific PLM modules - (Parts and BOM Management, Change management and workflows, CAD Data management and visualization, Project Management, ERP Integration, Part Classifications, Supplier Management e.t.c)

- Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints

- Exposure with Options & Variants, Vendor collaboration, Integration

- Functional experience in Engineering process mapping, NPD & Change Management, Manufacturing process especially in Semiconductor/Chip manufacturing industry.
- Have good understanding of PLM processes end to end, especially in Automotive industry.

- Experience in large Windchill Implementation and Migration projects (WBM)Experience with PTC Creo and other PTC software will be added advantage

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Good Analytical skill, Robust problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
