- Lead enigineer is closely involved with all aspects of the WiFi components router products.
- Closely works with HW and architects solutions that are demanded by customers, as well as supporting existing product lines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge of software development in C/C++, driver development within a wireless system-on-chip (SoC)
• Design & develop 802.11 related features in SoftAP and CPE devices
- Identify and resolve defects in existing product releases
- Knowledge of IEEE802.11 Wi-Fi protocols such as 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax, Hostapd, WPA supplicant
- Knowledge of TCP/IP internals and other network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, etc.
- Expertise in C and embedded Linux
- Expertise in WiFi Protocol Development (Application and Kernel layer), Linux Hostapd, WPA supplicant,
802.11 sniffing and Power Measurements
- In depth knowledge of IEE802.11 Wi-Fi Protocols 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax and Security Protocols (WPA2/3, WPA Enterprise, WPS, Easy Connect )
- Linux Device driver development, which is required to understand system level issues.
- Develop Wi-Fi classes which communicates with Wi-Fi driver using HAL.
- Setup of Jenkins and Creation of build plans for scheduled execution and generation of images.
