Position Summary:

The VP – Orthopaedics will lead and build Shukra MedTech’s Orthopaedics business, with overall responsibility for business strategy, P&L;, portfolio development, commercialization, market expansion, and sustainable growth.

The role requires a senior medical device leader with solid expertise in Orthopaedics, a deep surgeon/hospital network, and a proven track record of building and scaling businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall strategy and growth roadmap for the Orthopaedics business.
Own P&L;, revenue, margins, budgets, and commercial performance.
Drive sales growth and market expansion across hospitals, surgeons, institutions, and strategic accounts.
Build and strengthen relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, KOLs, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
Lead product portfolio strategy, new product launches, and commercialization.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships, technology collaborations, and new business opportunities.
Build and lead a high-performing sales, marketing, product, and commercial team.




Monitor market trends, competition, pricing, and technology developments to identify growth opportunities.
Work with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functions to support compliant and successful product commercialization.

Qualifications & Experience:

20+ years of experience in the Medical Device / Healthcare industry.
Strong senior leadership experience specifically in Orthopaedics / Orthopaedic Medical Devices.
Proven track record of building and scaling a medical device business.
Strong experience in P&L; management, sales, commercial strategy, product management, and business development.
Established network with orthopaedic surgeons, KOLs, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
Experience leading large, geographically distributed teams.
Experience with reputed domestic or international medical device companies preferred.
MBA / PGDM preferred.
