Designation: Level 2 SOC – Device Management Team

Location: Pune

Educational qualification: BE/MCA or University degree/Equivalent

Years of experience: 4 + yrs

Certifications Required: CCNA, CCNP or another vendor Equivalent

Certifications desired: Any vendor Security Certification like Broadcom, Juniper, Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Palo Alto

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Level 2 Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic 24x7 operations team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global customer, providing technical expertise and ensuring the smooth operation of their Layer 7 and WAF environment along with highly skilled network security team

Technical skills:

Administration and troubleshooting of the following technologies:

WAF, Layer 7, Application Security, Load Balancing, APM, LTM, Linux Operating System, SQL Database understanding.

Valuable understanding of the following:

BAU operations, ITIL processes, Change and Incident Management,

Responsibilities

- Health Monitoring of the devices

- Handling of P1, P2, P3 and P4 tickets till its closure





- Lifecycle Management for all the devices that are under Management.

- Certificate Renewal and other BAU major changes.

- Day to Day Administration Task for Load Balancer like o VIP configuration, iRules configuration, Creation of SOP that will be followed by the Level 1.

- Guide the level 1 team for any issues.

- ollow Incident Management, Change management and escalation management process for all processes.

- Coordinating with the OEM for tickets raised with them for the product.

- Weekly & Monthly report preparation for SOC Management

- Management of content of weekly, Monthly Report & Dashboard as proposed.

- Creating reports and providing insights of overall deployment.

- Performing periodic assessment of the current deployment.

- Strong Interpersonal skills

- Ability to work with minimal levels of supervision or oversight

Requirements

Hands on Broadcom WAF, Layer 7, APM and LTM products is an additional advantage.
