PhotonX is a fast-growing technology company specialising in digital product design and SaaS development. We create UI/UX designs, web applications, and Webflow solutions for startups and enterprise clients.

The Role

We're looking for a versatile Video Editor who can handle two core content streams:

- Podcast production – editing video podcasts, creating clips, shorts, and social-first content
- SaaS marketing videos – product demos, explainers, and promotional content for our design/dev services

You'll be our visual storyteller, transforming conversations and product narratives into engaging video content that builds our brand and generates leads.

What You'll Do

Podcast Content (50%)

- Edit full-length video podcast episodes with multi-camera setups
- Create short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos) from podcast content
- Design animated audiograms and quote cards for social promotion
- Add professional graphics, lower thirds, b-roll, and sound design
- Optimize content for YouTube, Spotify Video, and social platforms

SaaS Marketing Content (50%)
- Edit product demo videos showcasing our UI/UX and Webflow projects
- Create explainer videos highlighting our design and development capabilities
- Produce motion graphics and animated elements for brand storytelling
- Edit screen recordings with professional overlays, annotations, and transitions
- Create client testimonials,



case study videos, and success stories
- Design social media content optimized for each platform's specs

Must-Have Skills
- 2–4 years of professional video editing experience
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong portfolio showcasing podcast editing AND SaaS/tech marketing videos
- Experience creating social media content (Reels, Shorts, Stories)
- Solid motion graphics and 2D animation skills
- Strong colour grading and audio mixing abilities
- Ability to work with screen recordings and create polished product demos
- Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple projects

Nice-to-Have Skills
- DaVinci Resolve for advanced colour grading
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition)
- Familiarity with Figma for working with UI/UX designs
- Experience with 3D animation tools (Cinema 4D, Blender)
- Understanding of SaaS marketing and customer journey
- Knowledge of video SEO and YouTube optimisation
