Front-End (Javascript) Developer

Minimum Knowledge and Skills

· Solid knowledge of Javascript/HTML5 with jQuery.

· Advanced JavaScript programming techniques including object oriented design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Single page application, client side routing, AJAX with remote services using JSON

· Experience in designing complex user interfaces using object oriented programming techniques.

· Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as BackboneJS, KnockoutJS, AngularJS, RequireJS (any one is must).

. Ability to write modular testable javascript codebase.

· Fast-learning and adaptable to recent code-bases.

Plus

· General familiarity with current trends in front-end tools and frameworks

· Experience with optimizing page load times using standard tools and techniques

· Test driven Javascript development

UXD profile:

Must Have:

Hands-on experience in User Centric Design & Usability Engineering practices, methodologies and user research





Design highly scalable enterprise apps with rich performance computing experiences

Solving complex usability roadblocks & design problems

Work with stakeholder, end users, dev & other teams to make sure UX get shipped as envisioned

Sketching ideas, visualizing concepts, wire framing & prototyping.

Adhering to standards design principles

Appealing stellar visual designs

Skill sets:

Strong communication skills, experience with user interaction, requirement analysis, behavior analysis. Should have experience with UI

Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator in particular).

Expert in HTML5 and CSS3, familiar with jQuery and JavaScript.

Experience of Bootstrap, LESS.

Comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting and managing feedback and constructive criticism.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Education in Arts or design background.
