- Tooling: Ensure that tools are produced efficiently, on time, and to quality standards
- - Safety: Implement and maintain safety rules and regulations, and run safety audits
- - Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of tools and dies.
- - Staff: Develop and train tool room staff.
- - Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to identify tooling needs and schedules.
- - Reporting: Prepare reports on tool room operations and progress for upper management.
- - Technical issues: Solve technical issues.
