: CBSE TGT Science Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate TGT Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science education to students from Grades 6 to 10, fostering a love for the subject, and helping students develop a robust conceptual foundation in Science in line with the CBSE curriculum.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons for Grades 6 to 10 in alignment with the CBSE syllabus.

- Use diverse teaching methodologies, including project-based learning, experiments, and technology integration, to enhance understanding and retention.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments.

- Student Assessment and Support:

- Evaluate students through classwork, homework, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.

- Analyze academic performance and address learning gaps through remedial teaching.

- Encourage student participation in Science fairs, Olympiads, and other competitions.

- Classroom Management:

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.

- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a scientific approach in students.

- Collaborative Responsibilities:

- Work with colleagues to align teaching practices and curriculum planning.

- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns during PTMs or as needed.

- Professional Development:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Science education and CBSE guidelines.

- Attend workshops, training sessions,



and seminars to enhance teaching skills.

- Administrative Duties:

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other classroom activities.

- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and other administrative tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with B.Ed. is mandatory.

- Master’s Degree in Science is preferred.

- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) qualification is highly desirable.

- Experience:

- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.
