Purpose :

Responsible for overall management of Stores. Ensure inventory control, timely issue and receive material.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT :

- Analyze stock requirements and consumption trends.

- Maintain re-order level and optimum inventory levels for each item in stock.

- Raise indent for material as per re-order level / customer requirements.

- Follow up with purchase department for the items which may fall short.

- Receives and organizes inspection of all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders.

- Organize quality inspections on the materials and control receiving of defected products.

- Ship cancelled and damaged items back to vendors.

- Carry out stock take and ensure physical stock matches with ERP stock.

- Ensure timely generation and submission of MRNs.

- Ensure NPA are under control and are not further generated.

- Manage inter unit despatches as per inter unit order for store items.

- Manage despatches to distributors / dealers for store items.

- Ensure no material leaves premises without proper documentations.

- Following up for open RGP / NRGP.

- Update Corporate Purchase & Accounts Department stock position. (If applicable)

- Records for all inwards and outwards inventory movements.

- All business transaction should be recorded timely.

- ​​​​​​​Ensure timely disposal of NPA / wastage.

- Adherence to 5S norms.

- ​​​​​​​Decision on setting re-order levels and optimum inventory levels.

- ​​​​​​​Decision on manpower requirement for managing stores.

- ​​​​​​​Decision on dispatching material to units/ Channel.

- ​​​​​​​Establish close relation with suppliers to ensure smooth material flow.





- ​​​​​​​Maintain close relationship with third party carriers, courier companies, contractors and logistic providers

- ​​​​​​​Work closely with the Purchase, Accounts & Financial departments to ensure timely purchases and payments.

- ​​​​​​​Establish effective relationships with other service departments such as Sales & Marketing, HR, IT, etc.

- ​​​​​​​Maintain close relationship with Channel partners for smooth dispatch for packaging, publicity and other marketing material.

- ​​​​​​​Establish close relationship with stores department of other units to ensure smooth transfer or material.

- ​​​​​​​Close relation with Subordinates to ensure harmonious working conditions.
