Overview:

The System Engineer / Data Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of data management systems, as well as analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to provide valuable insights to the organization. This position is integral to optimizing system performance, ensuring data accuracy, and driving informed decision-making.

Position Details:

- Position Name: System Engineer/Data Analyst
- Nature of Job: Installation, Maintenance, Testing, Troubleshooting, and Data Analyst of Signalling & Telecommunication.
- Location: Bangalore Railway Division
- Openings: 40
- Eligibility: Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in the Railway Signalling and Telecommunication domain
- Preferred Background: Candidates with railway industry experience are highly preferred
- Qualification: Diploma in EEE/ECE or B.E./B.Tech in EEE/ECE

Terms and Conditions:

1. There will be a two-year agreement. If the candidate breaks the agreement, they will be required to pay a penalty of up to Rs. 50,000.
2. Selected candidates must submit their original certificates and mark sheets to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing, developing, and maintaining data systems and databases
- Performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Creating and maintaining automated data processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions
- Implementing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes




- Developing and implementing data quality standards and best practices
- Ensuring data security and compliance with privacy regulations
- Designing and maintaining data visualization dashboards
- Identifying and troubleshooting data-related issues and performance bottlenecks
- Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of current data technologies
- Conducting system performance tuning and optimization
- Providing technical support and expertise for data-related initiatives
- Documenting system processes and procedures
- Contributing to the development of data strategies and roadmaps
- Participating in the planning and execution of data-related projects

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages
- Expertise in database management and optimization
- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies is a plus
- Relevant certifications in system engineering or data analysis
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
