Our D2C Beauty brand is seeking a Vendor/Supply Chain Executive to join our growing team. As the Vendor/Supply Chain Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, and optimizing our supply chain processes. You will work closely with our operations, sales, marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure that we are able to meet customer demand while maintaining high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, including regular communication and follow-up to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule and track deliveries, including verifying product quantities and quality, resolving any delivery issues or discrepancies, and ensuring on-time delivery
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, including order management, inventory control, and distribution, with a focus on minimizing lead times and optimizing delivery schedules
- Monitor and analyse vendor performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, including delivery performance, quality metrics, and cost savings opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize our supply chain and reduce costs, including identifying alternative suppliers, consolidating shipments, and negotiating better terms with existing vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of goods, including coordinating with customer service to manage customer expectations around delivery timelines




- Work with our quality control team to ensure that all products meet our high standards, including coordinating with vendors to resolve any quality issues or defects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to vendor management and logistics
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, including coordinating with vendors to manage lead times and optimize inventory levels
- Develop and implement processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting on vendor performance and supply chain metrics, including performance dashboards and regular reporting to the leadership team

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on delivery coordination and logistics
- Robust negotiation skills and experience managing contracts and pricing, including delivery terms and logistics
- Knowledge of supply chain management best practices and principles, including delivery and logistics optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a strong focus on results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making
- Experience in the beauty industry is a plus, including knowledge of beauty-specific supply chain challenges and opportunities
- Strong grasp on numbers with proficiency in Microsoft excel
