1. Storage Administration of atleast one of the enterprise storage like VSP, XP24000 and DMX/VMAX.
- Administration of mid-range storage like EVA, HUS, CX,VNX, Netapp, V7000.
- Administration of BROCADE and CISCO SAN switches . Knowledge of Director class switches, NPIV.
- Administration of NAS like Celerra,Netapp, Isilon & HNAS.
- Knowledge of Celerra replication and DR.
- Fundamentals of snapshots & checkpoints.
- Sound knowledge of UNIX, Vmware & Windows with specific commands related to volume group and disks.
- Knowledge of scripting.
- Extensive knowledge of thin/dynamic provisioning.
- Knowledge of dynamic storage tiering/RAPID VP.
- Knowledge on NAS archiving.
- Knowledge on performance monitoring.
- Knowledge on IOPS and disk drive types.
