Assist the dentist during various procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
Record patients medical and dental histories.
Ensure patient comfort and manage anxiety before, during, and after dental treatments.
Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
Administrative Duties:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Maintain patient records and update dental charts.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about dental care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and place orders when necessary.
Process payments and handle billing and insurance documentation.
Infection Control and Safety:
Follow infection control procedures to maintain a sterile and clean working workplace.
Adhere to all OSHA and dental office protocols and guidelines.
ReceptionistPatient Education:
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Provide information about dental procedures and aftercare.
We are Looking for People Who Have
Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program.
Dental x-ray certification.
Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
