Audit Consultant (Direct Tax & Statutory Audit):

Key Responsibilities / KRA:
Independently execute statutory audit assignments for SME and corporate clients.
Handle Tax Audit assignments including Form 3CD and related reporting.
Perform audit planning, vouching, verification and analytical review.
Review books of accounts and financial statements.
Verify major balance sheet and P&L; items and identify accounting/audit issues.
Prepare and maintain complete audit working papers.
Assist in finalisation of financial statements and related schedules.
Identify internal control weaknesses and communicate audit observations.
Prepare audit queries and coordinate with client finance teams for closure.




Ensure audit assignments are completed within agreed timelines.
Coordinate with partners/managers on significant audit findings.
Guide junior team members and review their audit work.
Develop practical understanding of accounting, auditing, taxation and financial reporting.

Key Skills: Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, accounting, financial statement review, working papers, Excel, client coordination and ability to independently execute audit assignments.

Job Time- 9:30 AM-6:30 PM
