The State Head Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations within the assigned state. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales leadership within the finance or NBFC sector.
The State Head
Sales will focus on driving sales growth,
managing a team of City Managers and Sales Executives, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering robust merchant relationships. This role involves significant field engagement and a focus on achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
?
Team Leadership and Headcount Management: Maintain an updated database of the state-level team,
actively managing headcount to align with business needs and ensure optimal resource allocation.
?
Attrition Management: Implementstrategiesto foster a supportive and dynamic team environment,
effectively managing attrition and promoting team loyalty and engagement.
?
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews for City Managers and team members,
providing constructive feedback and establishing clear improvement plansfor underperformersto enhance overall team productivity.
?
Field Operations and Quality Assurance: Monitor field operations closely, ensuring high standards of merchant quality,maximizing merchantsatisfaction, and driving enhanced performance acrossthe state.
?
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 2-3 City Managers and 6-8 Team Leaders along with 150+
Sales Executives, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
?
Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and present comprehensive salesreports, accurate forecasts, and detailed state-specific performance metrics.
?
Sales Data Analysis and Strategy Implementation: Analyze state-level sales data to identify key trends,
opportunities, and challenges, and implement actionable insights to improve overall sales performance.
?
Business Development:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and untapped market segments within the state, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
?
Marketing Coordination: Collaborate effectively with marketing teamsto execute state-level marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and maximizing impact.
?
Networking and Brand Representation: Representthe company professionally atregional industry events and actively network to expand brand visibility and cultivate a strong client base.
?
Field Engagement and Team Support: Conduct field visits,strategically engaging with high-performing merchants and utilizing performance dashboards to optimize team travel and effectivenessin the field.
?
Loan Against
Property (LAP) Sales Initiatives: Drive Loan Against Property (LAP) sales initiatives, developing strategies to build cash flow and establishing consolidation teamsto significantly enhance state-wide operational efficiency and sales in this vertical.
?
Merchant Onboarding and Retention: Effectively onboard and nurture strong, long-term merchant partnerships, while also prioritizing team well-being by emphasizing hydration and ensuring resources for effective field productivity.
Technical Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a relevant field. MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
? Must be fluent in Hindi and English.
? Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis is essential.
? Minimum of 6-8 years ofsales management experience in the finance or NBFC sector, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position.
? Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed salestargets.
