Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SSIS Developer with deep expertise in designing, developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SSIS packages and enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust experience with advanced ETL development, third-party SSIS components (such as ZappySys), REST/SOAP API integrations, XML/JSON processing, and data validation techniques.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS and ETL development.

- Expertise in SQL Server, SQL query optimization, and database performance tuning.

- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.

- Proficiency in XML (XPath, XQuery) and JSON processing.

- Experience with ZappySys SSIS components/connectors.

- Knowledge of CDC, SCDs, Delta Loads, and ETL best practices.

- Strong understanding of data validation, checksums, hashing, and deduplication techniques.

- Experience working with Oracle databases, flat files, APIs, and cloud data sources.

- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Development & Data Integration

- Design, develop, and maintain complex SSIS packages for enterprise-scale data integration projects.

- Build robust ETL pipelines capable of handling high-volume and diverse data sources.

- Implement and manage:

- Data transformations

- Incremental load processes (CDC, SCDs, Delta Loads)





- Error handling and logging frameworks

API & External System Integration

- Integrate external systems using:

- REST APIs

- SOAP APIs

- ZappySys connectors

- XML and JSON data ingestion/parsing

Advanced Data Processing

- Develop solutions utilizing:

- XML parsing (XPath, XQuery)

- JSON transformations

- Checksum/hash-based data validation

- Data deduplication techniques

Data Source Management

- Work with heterogeneous data sources including:

- Microsoft SQL Server

- Oracle

- Flat files

- APIs

- Cloud-based data sources

Performance Optimization

- Optimize SSIS package performance for large datasets and complex transformations.

- Implement performance tuning techniques including:

- Parallelism optimization

- Buffer management

- Indexing strategies

- Query optimization

Troubleshooting & Debugging

- Troubleshoot and resolve:

- Package failures

- Performance bottlenecks

- Data quality issues

- Conduct deep debugging of SSIS workflows, scripts, and data flows.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in enterprise-scale data integration environments.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL architecture.

- Ability to optimize and support high-performance data processing solutions.
