Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to support the structural design and engineering of facade systems and building envelope components. The role involves structural analysis, preparation of engineering calculations, design of support structures and anchors, coordination with architects and structural consultants, and ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international codes.

The ideal candidate should possess robust analytical abilities, proficiency in structural engineering software, and a keen interest in building envelope engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform structural design and analysis of facade systems, including:

oCurtain wall systems

oUnitized glazing

oStick glazing

oAluminium windows

oSkylights

oGlass canopies

oMetal cladding

oStone cladding support systems

oTerracotta and porcelain cladding

oGFRC/UHPC support systems

oAluminium fins and architectural features

•Design:

oAluminium members

oSteel support brackets

oSecondary steel framing

oAnchor bolts

oEmbedded plates / Anchor channels

oWelded and bolted connections

•Carry out engineering calculations for:

oWind load

oDead load

oLive load





oSeismic load

oThermal movement

oServiceability criteria

oDeflection limits

•Prepare structural calculation reports for submission to clients.

•Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination.

•Coordinate with:

oArchitects

oStructural consultants

oFacade contractors

oAluminium system suppliers

oGlass processors

•Review contractor shop drawings and engineering submissions.

•Provide value engineering proposals without compromising safety or performance.

•Attend technical meetings and site inspections.

•Resolve structural and installation-related issues during construction.

•Ensure compliance with applicable standards including:

oIS Codes

oNBCS

oEurocodes (where applicable)

oAISC

oASCE 7

oASTM

oBS Standards

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

•Master's Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).

Proficiency in the following:

•STAAD Pro

•AutoCAD

•SJ Mepla

•Revit (preferred)

•MS Office

•Flixo (preferred)
