Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and maintain scalable native Android applications, including features that communicate with connected hardware (BLE where applicable).

 Architect app layers using reactive/asynchronous programming patterns and build contemporary UIs with Jetpack Compose.

 Write high-quality, effective code following Android best practices and architectural patterns.

 Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the app and connectivity layers.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize requirements.

 Drive code quality through testing, code reviews, and performance profiling.

Requirements:

 8+ years of overall software engineering experience,



with the majority in native Android development.

 Robust command of Kotlin and core Android fundamentals — memory management, concurrency, app/activity lifecycle, and architectural patterns.

 Hands-on experience with reactive/asynchronous programming (Coroutines & Flow, or RxJava).  Proven experience building production UIs with Jetpack Compose.

 Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

 Experience integrating Android apps with external connected peripherals.
