- Develop and implement corporate manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
- Monitor production performance across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Support plant leadership teams to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
- Standardize manufacturing practices, SOPs, and best practices across plants.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and resource utilization.
- Ensure all manufacturing sites comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
- Support internal and external regulatory audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to maintain high product quality standards.
- Analyze plant-level KPIs including productivity, yield, deviations, and downtime.
- Prepare operational performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions across sites.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
- Support technology transfer, scale-up activities, and recent product launches across manufacturing sites.
- Assist in manufacturing capacity planning and plant expansion initiatives.
- Participate in capital investment planning for manufacturing facilities and equipment.
Required skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP compliance
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Operational Excellence
- Strategic planning and data-driven decision-making
