Sr. & Jr. Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities :

 Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment

 Overseeing and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs and installations

 Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation

 Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned maintenance work

 Monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary

 Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

 Managing contractors and ensuring they complete works to a satisfactory standard

 Diagnosing faults and investigating equipment breakdowns

 Advising on equipment upgrades or replacements based on its current condition and operational requirements

 Documenting all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference





 Managing budgets for maintenance-related expenses

 Training maintenance staff and managing their work schedules

 Performing root cause analysis on major failures and recommending necessary action to prevent recurrence

 Handle repairs and ensure that machinery is in valuable working order

 Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary

 Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them

 Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

 In hence timely preventive & break down maintenance.

 Qualification : B. E. / B.TECH. – Mechanical / Dip.Mech-

 Experience : 4-7 years in bearing industry only.
