Role Overview

Responsible for L2/L3 support, administration, and troubleshooting of enterprise network security infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco & Palo Alto technologies, ensuring high availability and security of client environments.

Key Responsibilities (Essentials)

- Provide end-to-end support, troubleshooting, and administration of network security devices.

- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco ASA 5500-X (with SFR modules)

- Cisco Firepower Series (1000 / 2100 / 3100 / 4100)

- FMC 1600 / FMCv

- Palo Alto Firewalls & Panorama

- Manage and support Cisco ISE (SNS 35XX series, version 3.0+).

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IPSec & SSL VPNs.

- Understand and implement customer security policies on firewalls and security appliances.

- Participate in P1/P2 incident bridge calls and drive issue resolution within SLA.

- Independently handle remote troubleshooting and on-site support when required.

- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and escalation management

Desired Skills

- Robust knowledge of network security architecture & best practices.

- Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Palo Alto).

- Exposure to managed services / enterprise support environments preferred.

- Ability to work in 24×7 support / critical incident scenarios.

Qualifications & Certifications

- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science / IT / ECE preferred) or equivalent.

- Certifications such as
- CCNA / CCNP Security

- PCNSE / Palo Alto Certifications

- Any relevant network/security certifications (preferred)

- Deliver timely resolution of incidents (especially P1/P2).

- Maintain accurate documentation, configurations, and reports.
