GENERAL SUMMARY:

​Implements CI/CD pipelines for applications and components. Utilizes industry standards and best practices to fully automate all environments and deployments. Uses industry standard tool-set (version-control system, continuous build, continuous delivery/deploy, containers, secret engines, artifact services) in fully automated Kubernetes pipeline. Deploys and maintains data science applications. Builds pipelines that cover the Entire SDLC. Help migrate pipelines from Octopus to Harness.

Requirements

PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline with the following DevOps items: Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Python, Octopus Deploy, Harness, Artifactory, Azure CLI, and shell scripts), as well as other scripting languages.

- Improve our monitoring systems

- Code automation in Groovy, Powershell, Ansible and Python

- Works with development staff to Document CI/CD build and deployment requirements.

- Supports technology needs analysis by conferring with departmental personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements.

- Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, and resource allocation to management team, department leads, support staff, and end users

- Self-manage projects when required

- Collaborate with Software Development, QA Engineers to improve the efficiency continuously and reliability of build and deployment processes to support all phases of development, QA, and production releases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

- Deep technical knowledge of the following DevOps CI/CD toolsets and workflows:

· Source Code Management

· Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines





· Experience using Atlassian suite - Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket

· Advanced Kubernetes

· Artifactory

· Harness

· Octopus Deploy

· Github Enterprise

· Build tools like Bamboo and Jenkins

· CD tools like Harness.io and Octopus Deploy

· Experience with Docker images and deploying to Kubernetes via Helm

· Knowledge and experience with Azure

· Strong customer-service orientation.

- Proficient in communicating to both technical and management levels

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams

- Ability to work in the PST time zone.

- Powershell and Python

- Skilled at creating an environment which supports the timely exchange of high-quality information.

- Proficient at promoting effective working relationships in multi-disciplinary teams.

- Knowledge and experience with FDA, HIPPA and ISO regulated industries, a plus
