We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst for one of our leading clients, a prominent software company, located in Jaipur.

REPORTING: This position will report to Senior Manager, Data OperationsEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-TimeLOCATION: In-Office – Jaipur, IndiaSHIFT TIMINGS: 10 am to 7pm IST

This is a hands-on technical role requiring over 5 years of experience with Shell Script and SQL (T-SQL/PostgreSQL/OracleSQL). The ideal candidate will follow an agile, iterative development methodology with a focus on innovation, data quality, user value, and robust data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and test metrics using SQL data-stores.
- Develop, test, and deploy reports and interactive dashboards using these metrics.
- Emphasize effective visualization to reveal a clear data story.
- Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity for analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the USA team to collect and process data on web crawler software.
- Create analysis reports for various tests and production runs on the web crawler software.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data and analyze results, providing ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Clean and filter data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in T-SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle SQL.




- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word and Excel.
- Experience with Shell scripting.
- Expertise in querying, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and handle confidential data.
- Experience supporting data warehouses, identifying and revising reporting requirements, and ensuring data integrity.
- Technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- Skills in increasing efficiency and automation of processes.
- Ability to monitor and audit data quality, manage high-volume data under tight deadlines, and create data dashboards and visualizations.
- Robust verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as a team player.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Manage the Data Analysis team.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Knowledge of data processing, database programming, and data analytics.
- Robust domain knowledge in data analysis.
- Understanding of various data structures and data transformation methods.
- Experience with additional scripting languages such as Python, Shell/Sed/Awk.
- Exceptional problem-solving and data analysis skills.
- High reliability, flexibility, and adaptability under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a Master’s degree in Computer Applications.
