Job Role & Responsibilities

Role:

The DMU Specialist will be responsible for executing vehicle level virtual checks for 3&4W commercial vehicles

Responsibilities:

- Handling DMU of 3W ICE and EV vehicles
- Evaluate DFA/DFS issues on vehicles received from manufacturing plant in each phase and suggest countermeasures
- Own issues and follow up for countermeasures from Design/VI
- Proto assembly and part development support

Technical/ Functional:

- Basic 3W knowledge




- Ability to understand Product Architecture
- Knowledge of basic engineering design concept
- Visualize how parts fit and assemble
- Ability to foresee assembly & serviceability issues
- Performing clearance and interference checks
- Conducting ergonomics analysis
- Running assembly simulations

Specific expertise required for functional areas:
