Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing &

• Procurement

- - Develop and execute sourcing strategies for aluminium profiles, sheet metal components, fabrication materials, and engineering consumables.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, fabrication services, tooling, and outsourced manufacturing.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual rate contracts with suppliers.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Vendor Development &

• Management

- - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations based on quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
- Develop alternate sourcing channels to reduce dependency and supply risks.
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams for supplier quality improvement initiatives.

Cost Optimization

- - Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternate material sourcing, and process improvements.
- Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and industry benchmarks.
- Prepare cost comparison statements and procurement MIS reports.

Technical &

• Cross-Functional Coordination

- - Work closely with Design, Production, Planning, QA/QC, and Stores departments.
- Understand engineering drawings, BOMs, fabrication requirements, and manufacturing processes.




- Support current product development and project procurement activities.

Supply Chain &

• Compliance

- - Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and vendor records.

Required Skills & Competencies

- - Strong knowledge of:
- Aluminium extrusion and fabrication
- Sheet metal fabrication processes
- Laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, machining
- Raw material sourcing and vendor management
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in sourcing/procurement within Aluminium or Sheet Metal Fabrication industries.
- Experience handling OEM/vendor networks and contract manufacturing suppliers.
- Exposure to industrial manufacturing or engineering companies preferred.
