Your impact:
We are looking for a passionate Software Architect to join us as we strengthen our product portfolio, expand our services and solutions, and bring game-changing technology to market. This team member will be responsible for working collaboratively with a team of cross-functional engineers.
- Design and develop software technological solution, platform or reference (Connectivity etc.). Participates in determining the system, subsystem, and interfaces between them. Validates technology assumptions, evaluates alternatives, and defines functional and non-functional requirements. Test and review codes. Work together with global team members.
- Collaborate with the scrum team to finalize the design of user stories, ensuring they align with the overall architecture and development goals, and take part in code reviews and maintaining code quality.
- Provides continuous guidance and coaching to the scrum team on design knowledge and best practices and might participate in code development activities to uphold high standards of software quality.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of software development and design principles, which enables effective problem-solving and innovative solutions within the development team.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of healthcare standards and protocols such as DICOM and HL7, relevant to the business domain,
enhancing the integration and compliance of the software solutions.
- Engages with team-level stakeholders, including Senior Software Architects and the Product Owners, to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Focuses on the integration and functionality of components within the larger system architecture, ensuring that each part contributes effectively to the overall system performance.
- Plans Program Increments (PI) with a typical time horizon of three months, which involves detailed scheduling, resource allocation, and strategic progress towards achieving development targets.
- Holds responsibility for architecture and requirements at the feature level, ensuring they meet the desired outcomes, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations within the broader project context.
- Ensures comprehensive, up-to-date, and usable documentation of the software architecture in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational processes.
- Understands and effectively applies the development logic of the I2M architecture and platform creation process, ensuring seamless interfacing with Application Development (AD) and Product Data Lifecycle Management (PDLM) suites.

This role is an office role and you will be invited to work with colleagues in our Bangalore office 3 times a week.
You’ll thrive in the role if:
- You’ve acquired Minimum 12+ years’ experience in Software Design and development in embedded software/firmware.
- Experience in Agile SW Development practices; experience in scaled agile framework (SAFe) is preferred
- Assuring software compliestothe requested quality norms,leadingdesignand code reviews, anddrivingFMEAs
- Leadingrequirements definition and design creation, detailing, and documentation
- Knowledge and application of theregulatorystandards and interfaces is preferred
- Experience in Design, Code and Testingfor embedded systems using C/C++,winCE,Linux,Yocto
- Experience with RTOS and BareMetal (MUST) based Embedded Software.
- Microprocessor/Microcontroller development – Strong Knowledge and working experience on STM, NXP etc. microcontrollers (domain knowledge for designs SW, HW)
- Experience inwired communication(e.g.USB, GPIB, Ethernet, Serial, RS-485, CAN)and wirelesscommunications technologies like TCP/IP, UDP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, NFC,LTEModemetc.
- Hands-on experienceonSPI, I2C, PWM, ADC, DAC, PCIe, I2C, eMMC, USB, UARTs as well as Memory Management, Scheduling,Interruptsand multi-threading.
- Peripherals such as PCIe, memory interfaces, OS primitives, memory management, scheduling, interrupts, threading
- Device drivers - modification and development
- Experience in version control tools likeGitHub ,SVNetc.
- Experience with Azure DevOps tool for backlog and sprint planning.
- You have BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech in Embedded/Electronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
