Job Requirements

- Hands-on experience in induction furnace operations (preferably 22 MT furnace)
- Robust knowledge of billet production, including:
- Tested billets
- Vanadium alloy billets
- Copper alloy billets
- Ability to manage shift operations, control consumption, and ensure production efficiency
- Experience in handling furnace crew, material planning, and troubleshooting

Working Hours: 12-hour shifts

Salary: As per experience and capability

Preferred Candidate

- Prior experience in a steel plant with similar capacity and has a good knowledge of tested billet
- Strong understanding of yield, recovery, and cost control
- Practical, shop-floor oriented approach

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Control: Oversee production, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and optimize process efficiency to meet targets.

- Team Leadership:



Supervise, train, and assign tasks to operations personnel, union workers, or contractors.

- Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.

- Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce company, state, and federal safety standards (e.g.,) and ensure product quality matches specifications.

- Reporting & Handovers: Perform shift turnover, documenting operational data and troubleshooting issues through Root Cause Analysis.
