​​: Mid ServiceNow Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Engineer to join the ServiceNow Solution Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, configuring, and implementing customer solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including emerging capabilities such as Now Assist and GenAI-driven automation.

This role will collaborate closely with product, platform, security, and business stakeholders to ensure processes and workflows are optimized and scalable.

Core Responsibilities

- Develop current features and services of low to medium complexity, collaborating with product, platform, infrastructure, and security teams.

- Design, code, deploy, and support high-quality software and technology components aligned with architectural standards.

- Build scalable systems and services that drive immediate business impact.

- Create architecture documentation, estimates, designs, source code, and COTS configurations for required business features.

- Conduct code analysis, debugging, peer reviews, and unit/integration testing; create automated test scripts where appropriate.

- Deliver secure, high-performance code meeting non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, performance, and observability.

- Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, maintenance, and proactive issue identification.

- Act as a Lead Engineer for medium to large initiatives by prioritizing tasks, providing technical guidance, and resolving implementation challenges.

- Configure application jobs, create test data, configure automations, and support deployment activities for medium to high complexity initiatives.

- Develop and refine Now Assist-enabled workflows, experiences, and configurations that help business teams adopt GenAI capabilities.

- Integrate DevSecOps principles into development workflows including secure coding practices, automated security scanning, CI/CD compliance, and continuous monitoring.





- Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and TJX company standards.

- Own user stories and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and platform capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

- Front-end development experience (JavaScript).

- 6–10 years of experience in ServiceNow Portal and Flow Designer development.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Familiarity with REST/JSON integrations, HTML, and AJAX.

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps toolsets (GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, Jira, Confluence).

- Experience with Now Assist, GenAI accelerators, and automated script generation or workflow design.

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

- Familiarity with health scanning, performance monitoring, and platform observability tools.

- Experience with secure SDLC practices, code quality enforcement, and automated deployment frameworks.

- DevOps / DevSecOps exposure (GitHub, pipelines, secure coding practices)

- Experience enabling Now Assist use cases for business teams

- Experience with multi-domain or enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations

- ServiceNow CAD Certification
