Role Highlights:Proactively ensures security, reliability, scalability, and performance of on-premise and cloud hosted applications.Implements monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to maintain service health.Automates deployment and recovery processes to reduce manual intervention.Conducts post-incident reviews and drives root cause analysis and remediation.

Key Skills and Experience:Strong experience supporting live production services, including: o Incident triage and resolutiono Root cause analysis for recurring issueso Contribution to problem records and preventative actionso Security and vulnerability managementExperience working within formal change control processes.Strong understanding of service reliability concepts, including availability, performance, resilience, degradation, and recovery.Experience diagnosing and resolving application-level incidents, including code, configuration, and dependency issues.Comfortable working across legacy and modern applications with varying levels of observability and automation.

Solid experience working with Microsoft application stacks, including:o .NET (legacy .NET Framework and modern .NET)o IIS-hosted applicationso Web APIs and web applicationsStrong experience with SQL Server–based applications, including performance and availability considerations.Familiarity with legacy technologies and older frameworks, and the operational challenges they introduce.Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and key DevOps tools and technologies such as Infrastructure As Code, CI/CD pipelines,
